A letter from Music Director, John Masko

John Masko

Dear Brockton Symphony Family,

It is with the greatest anticipation that I write to welcome you to the BrSO’s 2023-2024 season.

I consider myself so lucky to have been chosen to lead the BrSO into its next era. The BrSO is a rare phenomenon: an orchestra rooted in one of Southern New England’s most vibrant communities, with a 99-year history of music-making and a talented roster of musicians hailing from the South Shore region. And most of all, it’s an organization made up of wonderful people dedicated to sharing great music with each other and with our city.

Our 2023-2024 season celebrates and builds on the three elements that have made the BrSO the heartbeat of Brockton for so many decades—tradition, community, and a spirit of adventure.

Stay up to date with the lastest BrSO events and news!
